We are credited with the first St Louis pop-up restaurant and since 2011 we have created a series of ten pop-ups in beautiful settings.

Our Story — How we got here

Marie and I always wanted to own a restaurant but we never wanted to run a restaurant. So we decided that the most entertaining and surprising night of a restaurant's history is opening night. Now, monthly, we hold our own opening night at our very own private restaurant- demitasse. The demitasse name is from a curated set of demitasse cups that were collected in 1944 by my father, from each theater of war that he was in, twenty in total. They serve not only as the name of our restaurant, but beautify the table at each of our themed dinners.
